Pembroke’s Tim Griffin ’90 was overwhelmingly elected Arkansas’ Lieutenant Governor on November 4. Tim defeated Democrat John Burkhalter and Libertarian Chris Olson.

Tim, a two term congressman, succeeded former Arkansas Lt. Gov. Mark Darr, who resigned last year amid an ethics investigation.

Tim is keeping up something of a Pembroke tradition – Win Rockefeller ’69, served as Arkansas Lt. Governor from 1996 to 2006.

He served in the U.S. Army Reserve for 18 years, was deployed to Iraq with the 101st Airborne Division, and holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Tim lives in Little Rock, Ark., with his wife Elizabeth and their two children.
