Tom Herman, Pembroke ’72, a native of Milwaukee, WI, heads the corporate and international legal practice areas at Smith & Duggan LLP, in Boston.

Educated at the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard, Oxford, and Northeastern Universities, he is the Vice Chairman of the Boston Landmarks Commission and President of the Pembroke College (Oxford) Foundation.

Tom was formerly First Deputy Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, Managing Director of BRF&G International Strategies, and Vice Chairman of the World Affairs Council of Boston. He served as Deputy National Issues Director of the 1988 Dukakis for President campaign.

Tom lives in Boston, Massachusetts.
