Terry Slesinski-Wykowski

 Terry Slesinski-Wykowski ’82 is passionate about helping others to reach their potential in their lives and work. A native of New York, Terry worked her way     through undergraduate and graduate school, graduating with honors with a B.A. in English Literature and an M.S. in Guidance and Counseling from Hunter College, City University of New York. Terry moved to Houston, Texas, after graduate school and worked as an internal consultant for ExxonMobil and also managed Exxon USA’s organizational development and training programs in the Houston area.
Terry’s passion for lifetime learning and critical thinking inspired her to seek further postgraduate study at Oxford, from which she earned and M.Phil in Management Studies as a member of Pembroke College. After working for an outside consulting firm, Terry founded the Oxford Consulting Group in 1990. Terry and her business partner, Neil Douglas, have published two books about their work: Beyond Reductionism: Gateways for Learning and Change (Taylor and Francis, 1999), and From Belief to Knowledge: Achieving and Sustaining an Adaptive Culture in Organizations (Taylor and Francis, 2010).

Terry is Chair of the Houston Oxford Society and lives with her husband, Jim Wykowski, in Houston.
