Dear Pembrokians,

With deep sadness Pembroke College mourns the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and extends its sincere condolences to the King and members of the Royal Family.

The College Chapel is open for private prayer and reflection, and a book of remembrance will be placed inside for all members of our community to sign. There will be special Evensong and Holy Communion services held in the Chapel next weekend, to which all are welcome. Details will be published on the College website.

As a mark of respect, some public activities will not take place until after the State Funeral. We will publish details on the College website and by email in due course.

The Union Flag will be flown at half-mast during the period of State mourning, except that from tomorrow morning until 1.00pm the following day the flag will fly at full-mast to mark the proclamation of the reign of King Charles III.
