Pembroke Chez Josephine 2 of 2

Last night, a group of NYC Pembrokians gathered at historic Chez Josephine for a networking event hosted by Jock Spivy (’73) and Pembroke’s new Director of Development, Alice Gosling.

This “Meet The Fellows” evening was focused on introducing some of our NYC alumni to Pembroke’s own Professor Nicolas Cole, founder of The Quill Project–one of Pembroke’s three research centres.  Cole is in New York this week attending a historians conference– which provided a great opportunity to a somewhat impromptu Pembroke gathering.Pembroke Chez Josephine 1 of 2

As Ms. Gosling recounted, “The evening proved to be a wonderful opportunity for alumni from a wide range of fields and eras to share their experience of Pembroke and enjoy each other’s company.”

Drinks were poured.

Bread was broken.

New contacts were made.

Old friendships were rekindled.

We are planning our next gathering of Pembrokians in New York City  for the 18th of April during Oxford University’s North American Reunion (April 17-18th)– please keep an eye peeled.  We’d love to have you join us!

Also, if you happen to live in another part of the US and might be interested in attending or hosting an evening with Pembrokians in your city, please shoot us an email and let us know!
