Isaacson Named Editor-At-Large of Arcadia Publishing

Walter-IsaacsonWalter Isaacson ’74, has been named editor-at-large and senior adviser at Arcadia Publishing Co.  Walter is currently teaching history in his hometown of New Orleans at Tulane University, having recently stepped down from the presidency of the Aspen Institute.

A student of the legendary Zbigniew Pelczynski while at Pembroke, Walter is an award-winning historian and the author of many best-selling books, including biographies of Steve Jobs, Benjamin Franklin, Henry Kissinger, and most recently Leonardo DaVinci.

Arcadia publishes illustrated books on local and regional history.

Walter recommends Robert Penn Warren’s All the King’s Men as a novel that best captures the United States current fraught political and social environment.
