Marc Mezvinsky – Vice-President
Marc Mezvinsky, ’00, is currently managing director of TPG’s Tech Adjacencies fund. Prior to joining TPG, he was the Vice Chairman of Social Capital and the founding partner of Eaglevale Partners LP, a Global Macro Investment Fund based in New York City. Marc’s career in financial service began at Goldman Sachs in 2002 in the Investment Management Division. In 2003, he moved to Goldman Sachs’ Fixed-income, Currency and Commodities Division, where he was a global foreign exchange salesperson, supporting many of the firm’s prominent institutional investors. In 2006, he joined Goldman Sachs’s Global Macro Proprietary Trading Group. He has spent considerable time focused on emerging markets strategies and is a derivatives specialist. From 2008 to 2010, Marc was a partner at 3G Capital and ran its global macro portfolio. Marc graduated from Stanford in 2000 and, attending Pembroke College, Oxford University received his BA/MA from Oxford. To raise what he refers to as “petty cash at Pembroke” while at Pembroke, Marc was the author of a book titled, E-Finance North America: Strategic and Statistical Analysis of Online Financial Services. (Lafferty Publications, 2000). “I would not call it a page turner,” he says. Marc was born in Washington, DC, and raised in Philadelphia. He and his wife Chelsea and daughter Charlotte reside in New York City.
